run hard rest well

More on Sleep...

Time Magazine did a feature on Sleep back in February and I recommend it for your reading. One of the researchers highlighted the three 'pillars of health' that I often reference in my health workshops: exercise, diet and sleep.  Here is what Matthew Walker says: "I used to suggest that sleep is the third pillar of good health, along with diet and exercise," says Matthew Walker, a professor of neuroscience and psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. "But I don't agree with that anymore. Sleep is the single most effective thing you can do to reset your brain and body for health."

OK, so there is something to think about.  My sleep patterns are not strong. I'll have to pay more attention to that and look for other resources.

Sleep - Run Hard, Rest Well.

I highly recommend Brenda Jank and Run Hard, Rest Well.  Brenda comes from a deep reservoir of life experiences (translate that "challenges") that makes her message real and she freely shares that in a helpful, practical way. Her faith in Christ is clearly the source of her strength.

I've recently been through one of her workshops (I highly recommend it for your church/school staff) and she can also serve as a strong resource on better sleep.
