An Opportunity:
We are Mark and Becky Schoepp and we would like to present an opportunity for churches to raise significant and ongoing dollars for local ministry and at the same time boost the congregations efforts at helping people to be good stewards of their bodies and give God their best. The company is NeoLife and we have been with NeoLife for 33 years. The company has been around for 65 years with an unblemished record for safety plus many industry standard nutritional products.
Ministry dollars can be hard to come by. In a perfect world people are tithing and more than enough is available to support ministries. The reality is often that congregational budgets are stretched and many congregations have a list of fundraisers done each year: auctions, dinners, car washes, craft events, sales of products - candy, nuts, gift card, etc. but there is often no faith connection and last years money doesn’t come this year without this year’s work.
We believe this NeoLife for NonProfits fundraising option is a way for the time spent on fundraising to bring a repeated return of value. Plus providing each person the potential of being healthier and serving God to the best of their abilities - being a good steward.
There is a model that many Lutherans may be familiar with: Thrivent provides services for purchase, and educational opportunities on financial stewardship for the congregation and community. People within the congregation are presented with opportunities to participate and learn and can decide if the services offered are right for them. Thrivent then also provides a way for congregations to request dollars back to the congregation to use for ministry projects.
In a similar way, Mark and Becky Schoepp would provide educational experiences on stewardship of our bodies and health and wellness and in that context, introduce what NeoLife has to offer. We strongly believe in education. If a person understands more about how the body works and what it needs, it is easier to make healthier decisions. They would also have the opportunity to decide about purchasing NeoLife products.
Because NeoLife products are consumable, people will generally continue to purchase. We have consistently been using NeoLife for 33+ years. No long or short term commitments required. No minimum purchases are required, and no membership fees. But the health benefits keep the people like us connected. Even if the person would change their church membership, as long as they kept buying the NeoLife product, your congregation would receive the benefit. And the company grows by word of mouth, one person tells another and they can sign up as well, even if they are not members of your church. Profits are paid monthly back to the church, based directly on volume of sales over time.
This video link shareneolife.com is likely the best 30 min explanation of NeoLife’s approach to supplements and the core products. 50% to as high as 70% or more of the US population already uses supplements. Even with those high numbers, brick and mortar nutritional supplement stores are losing market share. People prefer to buy from a recommendation - a source they know and trust.
For those churches who are willing to sign up with NeoLife for NonProfits we provide support: workshops, articles for newsletters, etc. around health and wellness. One local person serves as the contact for us and for NeoLife. They are our window into the congregation for scheduling, reporting of income, etc.
YES OR NO??? Churches have two options: 1) The Church itself signs up as a NeoLife Member and people sign up under the church and the profits are sent directly from NeoLife to the Church; (potential of up to 20% + of sales for profits); or
2) People sign up under Mark and Becky and Mark and Becky give those profits as a donation to the church. (caps at up to 15% of sales)

And a conversation with NeoLife leaders from Corporate office is also an option.
““What you share is gold and has huge implications well beyond personal health. It has helped us to be as effective as possible with the time we have every Sunday with our people.””
“Thanks much Mark. It was a fantastic and engaging presentation!”
