A Mid-phase Caregiver, Encouraging Early Caregiving Conversations, and more robust planning for later years.

We’ve been on this journey for 30 years, from Becky’s first cancer diagnosis in the Fall of 1992. Three rounds of cancer plus extended fallout from the traditional cancer treatments, including advanced heart failure, have made for an “eventful” journey. 30 years puts Becky in a very small demographic of survivors. She is using her experience to encourage others who have survived chemo and radiation.

Scroll down for a series of seven short YouTube videos (about 5 minutes each) on various aspects of Caregiving: 1) Intro; 2) Importance of Exercise; 3) Role Changes; 4) Clinging to Our Faith; 5) Self-Development; 6) Meds and Nutrition; 7) Caregiving at the End. Additional resource links on the YouTube video notes or on this site under Helpful Links (including a must-read book suitable for family study regarding medical decisions at the end of life - you know, the conversations we don’t have till it’s too late).
